#Cuisinonslocal Youth Contest

What do you eat in your neck of the woods?
Many prizes, such as a gourmet dinner for you and your friends!

End of the #cuisinonslocal Youth Competition:
Super Winners Everywhere in Quebec!

On May 1st, our #cuisinonslocal youth competition ended, in collaboration with Aliments du Québec, IGA and Ricardo.

Given the context of COVID-19, youth were quickly invited to cook alone or with their families rather than in Brigades. Many of them responded to our call.

After a rigorous evaluation of the preselected candidates by lot, here are the big winners of the 2020 edition of this contest!

Grand Provincial Winner

Timéo Doucet, from Chambly, won the top honors! He seduced the juries with his entirely “Quebec” burger: onions, Montérégian beef, smoked bacon with maple wood from François Pellerin, aged cheddar from Mont St-Hilaire and a homemade blueberry ketchup! Master stroke: Timéo replaced the bread with spiced potato patties! French fries: made with potato peels with a touch of smoked paprika! No food waste!

Timéo wins a $ 200 gift certificate in a restaurant of his choice participating to the Aliments du Québec au menu program, a Bento box and a recipe book! His recipe will also be highlighted in a video as soon as possible, that will be hosted on the IGA website!
