La Tablée des Chefs' summer culinary camps are back this year!

Once again this summer, La Tablée des Chefs will welcome young cooks aged 11 to 15 to its culinary camp. Participants will explore current food trends, learn about local food, and will be taught about food waste. In addition, they will have the chance to take part in our fight against food insecurity and do something concrete by participating in a major food activity. This is a unique experience of working together in the kitchen allowing young people to become aware of different social issues!

On the menu this season

For this edition, we’re taking our cooks on an exciting and tasty culinary adventure spread out over 5 themed days: J’y vais molo, J’ai envie d’umami, Je mets la main à la pâte, Je passe à l’action et Opa! J’ai l'esprit festif! How does cooking breakfast all day sound? Or juggling fresh, savoury and sweet pasta doughs? Our youngsters will explore the intensity of Asian flavours and discover umami, the mysterious fifth flavour. They will also learn about sustainable food and take part in La Tablée des Chefs’ mission. To conclude their gourmet week, our chefs will explore our in-house chef’s Greek roots and you will be invited to try some of their creations. Once again this year we are privileged to have renowned and generous chefs share their recipes and tips with your youngsters. As always, places are limited, so book your spot soon!

Age requirements to participate in the culinary camp

Schedule

Each camp lasts five days, from Monday to Friday. Activities start at 8:30am and end at 4pm. Each day, your child will cook snacks and make lunch...a great opportunity for parents to take a break from packing lunches!

We welcome children as of 8am. At the end of the day, children can leave at 4:00 pm or be enrolled in daycare. Daycare is offered from 8:00 to 8:30 and from 16:00 to 17:00, free of charge. Children who have permission to leave the camp on their own may do so from 4pm.

Absence or lateness

In case of absence or lateness, please call 450-748-1638 ext. 304.  Mention your name, the name of the child, the day he/she will be absent and the location of the camp where he/she is registered (Longueuil, Montreal, Quebec or Laval).
