To reduce food insecurity, La Tablée des Chefs relies on its Food Recovery program, Solidarity Kitchens and Solidarity Soup food preparation projects, as well as the Solidarity Kitchens - Next Generation program, an  activity that mobilizes the next generation of culinary students.

Through this program, La Tablée des Chefs acts as a liaison agent between donors of surplus food and local community organizations who will take charge of collecting donations and distributing them to people experiencing food insecurity.

Since 2003, the Les Cuisines Solidaires - Édition Relève project has mobilized cooking teachers and students each year to take on the challenge of preparing meals that are redistributed to food aid organizations.

The project was launched as a pilot project in the winter of 2023 in five elementary schools in Montérégie and since then, the number of schools has quadrupled! The project is therefore gaining in importance and that is why we need your solidarity and generosity!
