Culinary Camps
with a social flavour
For 8 weeks every summer, La Tablée des Chefs welcomes groups of young people to its Cooking Schools in Montreal, Longueuil, Quebec City and Laval!
Participants explore current food trends and learn about local food, as well as becoming more aware of food waste. The youth also have the chance to take part in our efforts to combat food insecurity, and do something tangible by getting involved in a Culinary Activity.
It's a unique experience of teamwork in the kitchen that also gives young people a chance to learn about a range of social issues!

Frequently asked questions
La Tablée des Chefs welcomes youths from ages 11 to 15. For safety and insurance reasons, we cannot accept children under 11 years of age. Children registered must be at least 11 years old on the first day of camp.
Once again this summer, we'll be taking our cooks on an exciting and tasty culinary adventure spread over 5 themed days:
- Wear your sombrero, it's Cinco de Mayo!
- An Italian feast...yes, I do!
- A Lunar New Year with both feet firmly on the ground!
- A glamping New Year's Eve!
- The appetizers are ready, the party can begin!
The mood will be one of fun and celebration, with a major Mexican feast, Italian wedding, Chinese New Year and a Camper's Christmas in the spotlight! To close off their gourmet week, our cooks will be enjoying a cocktail party, preparing and tasting a variety of festive appetizers.
Once again, we're privileged to have renowned and generous chefs on hand to share their recipes and culinary secrets with the youths.
Our Culinary Camps run in French, as well as the documents given to the youth. To be able to take part, your child must therefore be sufficiently at ease with the French language in order to understand the instructions relating to safety and activities.
Each camp week runs for five days, from Monday to Friday. Activities start at 8.30am and finish at 4pm. Every day, your child will cook his or her own snacks and lunch... a great opportunity for parents to take a break from preparing packed lunches!
We welcome children from 8am. At the end of the day, children can leave at 4pm or be registered for daycare. The latter is offered from 8am to 8:30am and from 4pm to 5pm, free of charge. Children with permission to leave the camp on their own may do so as of 4pm.
Our Culinary Schools cannot provide an environment free of allergens and/or traces of allergens. The weekly menu cannot be changed to accommodate allergies, special diets (vegetarian, gluten-free, keto, etc.) or religious beliefs (kosher, halal, etc.).
Please note that the camp menu is the same for all 8 weeks.
If your child has special needs, please contact us before registering. La Tablée des Chefs cannot assume any assistance or responsibility for the administration and management of medication during the Culinary Camps. However, in case of emergency, we will administer epinephrine.
The week before your child starts camp, you will receive an email containing information to help prepare them.
In the event of absence or delay, please call 450-748-1638, ext. 304, and give us your name, the child's name, the day he or she will be absent and the location of the camp where they are registered (Longueuil, Montreal, Quebec or Laval).

I really enjoyed the experience, and it only increased my desire to cook. Every evening I was proud to present my recipes to my family, and every morning I couldn't wait to get to camp. The week went by way too fast!
The camp is very well organized, and it's wonderful to see the children smiling and proud of their productions! Chef and animator are friendly, smiling, dynamic, committed and concerned about the kids: bravo!
