Being a chef trainer at La Tablée des Chefs, what does it mean?
  • Leading a 2-hour cooking workshop every week (October to April) ;

  • Purchasing food for the workshops in a participating grocery stores ;

  • Teaching students basic cooking techniques using a turnkey program (no recipe or content creating required) ;

  • Being part of a community of chefs who are as passionate and committed to the cause !

The trainer facilitates culinary workshops for young people, sharing their culinary knowledge and skills in an educational and practical context.

Educational tools are provided by La Tablée des Chefs. Tools and materials are made available to support and guide you throughout the mandate. You may consult them as needed

Each workshop represents an estimated mandate of 4 to 5 hours per week, including preparation, necessary purchases, and carrying out the workshop.

The fixed fee is $125 for each workshop completed.

No. The trainer acts as a self-employed consultant. Each workshop constitutes an independent mandate.

We look for individuals who can offer their services on a weekly basis, from October to April. This commitment is important as it allows for building a relationship of trust and a meaningful connection with the youth.

We are currently looking across Quebec and Canada. There are several opportunities available depending on your place of residence.

Culinary experience is important, but the main goal is to be able to share culinary knowledge with youth in a dynamic and supportive environment.

We particularly appreciate individuals with strong teaching skills who are comfortable with facilitating and interacting with young people.

It is a great opportunity to share your passion for cooking, pass on your knowledge, and make a concrete contribution to youth development, all while benefiting from a flexible mandate structure.
