The Association hôtelière du Grand Montréal (AHGM) held the 51st Annual Bill Brown Golf Tournament last Thursday, raising $5,365 for La Tablée des Chefs through a silent auction.

Made possible through the support of Tourisme Montréal, the event brought together more than 75 golfers who took on the course at Club de Golf Windmill Heights, while approximately 30 industry colleagues and partners rolled up their sleeves for a hands-on culinary workshop led by the culinary team of the evening’s host, Château Vaudreuil.

“This day once again demonstrates the strength of our hospitality community. Beyond the opportunity to come together, our members and partners showed up to support a cause that is helping fight food insecurity,” said Dominique Villeneuve, President and CEO of the AHGM. “We are especially proud to have brought together more than 130 hospitality professionals in an environment that was both welcoming, engaging, and generous. These opportunities to connect are invaluable in strengthening the relationships that contribute to the vitality and growth of our industry.”

The day’s top foursome—David Connor, Mario Valcourt, Serge Laroche and Matthew Griffith—earned the opportunity to test their teamwork again with a round at Club de golf Le Blainvillier. In the individual competitions, Claudia Bennett and Jean-Martin Roy recorded the longest drives, while Marie-Pierre Thibault claimed the closest-to-the-pin honour.

The warm day of activities concluded with a cocktail reception presented by Guest Supply and a dinner presented by Buanderie Lavoir Jérômien. The evening went well beyond sporting and culinary achievements, emphasizing networking, camaraderie, and generosity. This year’s event was organized in collaboration with graduates of the Event and Convention Coordination AEC program at the ITHQ.

The Association would like to thank the event’s valued sponsors: Tourisme Montréal, Château Vaudreuil, Encore Canada, Buanderie Lavoir Jérômien, Guest Supply, Bombance, Limotour, BE WTR, Desjardins, ECS Canada, FreedomPay, Global Payments, HD., Innlogix, Jajko, MIS – Institut de natation de Montréal, WSP and Ooya.

The organization also wishes to acknowledge the generosity of members throughout its network, whose contributions made it possible to offer nearly 20 silent auction items.

The AHGM’s next major gathering will take place on July 14 as part of the 2026–2027 Hotel Outlook event. For more information, visit the Association’s website.
