The Solidarity Kitchens reignite their stoves!
The population continues to be impacted by the pandemic and food insecurity is still prevalent across the country. La Tablée des Chefs and its partners are therefore mobilizing once again and launching a second phase of The Solidarity Kitchens initiative! 2021 goal? Prepare and deliver more than 2 million servings to Food Banks in Canada, including more than 1.6 million for Quebec Food Banks and community organizations! #Feed

All our Solidarity Boxes have been sold! Each and everyone of our Solidarity Baskets have found buyers who will be enjoying an assortment of products exclusively designed by renowned chefs from Canada. Montreal, Quebec City and Toronto Foodies purchased these boxes filled with unique products which are perfect as a gift or to share with the family! Une version revisitée des Camps Culinaires lancée cet été
Les Camps Culinaires de La Tablée des Chefs sont de retour du 29 juin au 21 août dans une version adaptée aux normes sanitaires actuellement en vigueur pour faire face à la pandémie de la COVID-19. Afin de permettre aux jeunes passionnés de cuisine, ou qui sont tout simplement curieux, de parfaire leur éducation culinaire, et ce en toute sécurité, La Tablée des Chefs propose cette année deux versions de ses célèbres Camps Culinaires : Les camps en présentiel dans les écoles de cuisine de Montréal, Québec et Longueuil. Ils ont été revus afin de respecter les normes sanitaires en vigueur et accueilleront jusqu’à huit participants par session (au lieu de seize les années précédentes), compte-tenu des règles de distanciation sociale. Les camps virtuels : une version en ligne, interactive offerte par chacune des écoles à douze participants par session avec la possibilité de cuisiner en famille

Les Cuisines Solidaires have now reached 800,000 meals cooked and delivered
As of April 4, chefs and brigades from restaurants across Quebec have turned their ovens back on and are working hard to reach Les Cuisines Solidaires’ goal: producing 1,600,000 meals for the benefit of Quebec's food banks. La Tablée des Chefs, the driving force behind this great initiative is proud to announce today that more than 800,000 meals have been cooked and delivered to food banks across Quebec to feed many people and families in need. Brigades are thus halfway towards the goal of 1,600,000 meals and are confident they will reach or even exceed it.

Who is willing to accept Les Défis Solidaires?
As challenges are a driving force for Les Cuisines Solidaires, La Tablée des Chefs is introducing a friendly competition to financially support the collective initiative: Les Défis Solidaires. This online auction, inspired by the american All in challenge fundraiser, has been organized in collaboration with Signature Pro. The idea behind Les Défis Solidaires is very simple. Using a video, a public figure declares that he or she is accepting the challenge and presents the item or experience being auctioned. The person must also invite two public figures to participate to Les Défis Solidaires. The individuals challenged must then prepare a video to offer an auctioned item and nominate two other people and so on. All profits generated by Les Défis Solidaires will be donated to Les Cuisines Solidaires initiative. This unusual auction concept is sure to generate a lot of buzz! COVID-19 - Update
La Tablée des Chefs rigorously applies all official recommendations to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The health and safety of our employees, participants and partners are important to us. The food recovery program will continue to operate. Our priority is to ensure continuity of service in a safe manner. Our program is even more essential for those in need during this exceptional situation. The schools being closed for the next two weeks, the Kitchen Brigades workshops scheduled until March 27, will be postponed or canceled. As a preventive measure, we suspend the CTA Culinary Workshops until March 27. And we are suspending the culinary activities of our 3 cooking schools for the next two weeks.
