To reduce food insecurity, La Tablée des Chefs relies on its Food Recovery program, Solidarity Kitchens and Solidarity Soup food preparation projects, as well as the Solidarity Kitchens - Next Generation program, an  activity that mobilizes the next generation of culinary students.

Through this program, La Tablée des Chefs acts as a liaison between surplus food donors and local community organizations that collect the donations and redistribute them to people in situations of food insecurity.

The initiative was launched as a pilot project in the winter of 2023 in five primary schools in the Montérégie region, and since then the number of schools has quadrupled! The project is growing fast, which is why we need your solidarity and generosity!

Since 2003, the Solidarity Kitchens - Next Generation Edition project has mobilized culinary students and professors to take on the challenge of preparing meals for community food banks.
