This inter-school competition was once again held at the Institut de tourisme et d'hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ).

Hosted by Ricardo, the national finale attracted many guests, including the Minister of Social Solidarity and Community Action, Chantal Rouleau, and the Minister of Education, Bernard Drainville. The ITHQ's Director General, Liza Frulla, was also delighted to attend this culinary showdown!

The 5 final teams had to cook a dish featuring 3 mystery ingredients: chicken thighs, asparagus and red onions.

After sampling all the culinary creations, the jury deliberated before declaring the Kitchen Brigade team from the Antoine-Bernard school in Gaspésie-Île-de-la-Madeleine the overall winner!

Congratulations to all the participants and to the members of the winning brigade who will soon be taking part in the international finale in Paris! Good luck to all these young culinary enthusiasts!
