La cuisine du cœur n’a pas d’âge!

This new activity at La Tablée des Chefs is offered free of charge to people aged 55 and over who are committed to cooking and healthy eating.

See registration button for both location below.

Culinary activity description

During this workshop, you'll prepare a soup for students from local elementary schools in underprivileged areas. Then, you will enjoy a bowl of soup and take some home. Plus, you'll have the chance to cook and enjoy a delicious dessert to satisfy your sweet tooth.

The Cooking From the Heart Transcends All Ages project is part of our Solidarity Soups initiative, under which La Tablée des Chefs produces soups for elementary schools across the province to feed children in situations of food insecurity while reducing food waste.

The recipes prepared during these workshops take into account the nutritional needs of seniors and healthy eating, and provide some very interesting tips along the way.

If you enjoy cooking, want to share a delicious moment, learn more about culinary issues related to aging and make a difference in the lives of young people, get involved now!

This project was funded by the Quebec Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food.
