Jean-François was delighted to attend and discuss the need to educate the next generation of chefs to be more socially responsible and be partners in reducing food waste. They can play a key role in tackling food insecurity in the community by packaging surplus food and donating it to local organisations. They can also help educate the next generation of young people to develop their food autonomy.
